Logan is One Month Old!!!

4 Weeks old sleeping

3 1/2 weeks old coming home from Columbus

Papa tried to put me down...I wanted mama...I got my way!!!

Go Seahawks!!!! Mama is starting me early on football!!

Mama and Papa call this my "milk drunk" stare...yes I am drunk!
OK, so this post is a little late, because Logan is almost 2 months now!! I know, I am slacking!! This month has been pretty busy.  As many of you know, we spent the entire first month of Logan's life traveling.  He is already a frequent flier!!! But he did amazing.  Then in January we went back down to Ohio for Grandpa Tom's birthday!! It was great fun, but Randy and I are looking forward to just staying at home for a while with no travel! We have a four day in Feb. and our plans are to stay in our house! While it may sound boring to some, it sounds absolutely wonderful to us.  Although we do love have visitors!!! Logan is growing like a weed! At his 1 month appointment he was 21.5" long and weighed 11 Lbs 10 ozs.  He is starting to smile and is very attached to his Mommy.  While this sounds wonderful, sometimes I would love for him to be that attached to his Papa!!!  We have gotten into a pretty good routine and we are starting to put Logan down for naps at certain times.  Next week we are working on those naps being in his crib and not on mommy since the camera system is up and working.

Logan Charles Schnell

Logan Charles Schnell joined our little family on December 8, 2010 at 12:42pm.  He weighed 9 lbs 15 1/2 ozs and was 20 1/2 inches long! Yes, you read right, I had a ten pound baby!!  To be completely honest, labor was the easiest part of the entire pregnancy!! I was extremely lucky and only pushed for 25 minutes.  And once I received the epidural, I was very very happy!!!!  We stayed in the hospital for 2 days (its required here) and then we were lucky enough to go home and have Grandma here to take care of us!!!!!
Randy and I couldn't be more thrilled to be parents and to enjoy this new little bundle that we have in our lives!!! Now that Logan is here, I hope to update the blog weekly so that everyone can keep up with just how much he is changing.
The first month of this little guys life was pretty busy! At ten days old he boarded his first plane to head to Washington State (I only add the state part for all the east coasteners who are going to say...DC!!)  We flew out of Cleveland, so Logan was greeted by so much family when we arrived! He met Grandpa Tom, Great Aunt Paula, Great Aunt Theresa, Great Aunt Marion, Great Grandpa Schnell and Great Grandma Schnell.  Needless to say, he was loved and loved!!!  Once we flew to Washington, he was again greeted by Grandma Treva and met Nana Liz and his cousin Deisha.  This little boy is so loved it is not even funny!!!  After his drive to the house, he met Uncle Jayson and Grandpa Chuck and Uncle Detrik.  Needless to say at this point, I didn't really get to hold my little boy anymore! Sad mama!!!  The next day we went and got our Christmas tree and that meant that Logan had to go in his snow suit, which he completely fought!!

He of course stayed extremely happy while we were in Washington, even when I got the flu unfortunately!! He had a great first Christmas and met his Great Aunt Karen and Great Uncle Bob and Cousins Shawn and Brandon.  We also visited my mom's work, she has worked there since I was 4, so needless to say, most people wanted to meet Logan.  There he met so many people who almost didn't want to give him back, but his favorite person was Jody!!!!  After leaving Yakima, we headed up to Seattle where he met Val and Chad.  Then he met Lindsey, Jeanette, Colin, Cassie Jo and her little boy Max.  Logan does great traveling and actually loves his car seat and will go right to sleep.

We finally made our way back to Cleveland, where he met even more family!! Aunt Gail, Uncle Ray, Christina, Becky, Aunt Jeanne...this kid has a ton of family!!  On New Years, we made our way down to Columbus to introduce Logan to his Great Grandma Roz, Great Grandpa Dick, Uncle Nick, Great Uncle Richard, Great Aunt Cindy, Cousin Brittany and of course Roxy!! Logan just honestly really loves meeting his family and enjoys being held and cuddled!!!!  Alright!!! More to come later!
